Last weekend our service manager Cathy had the honour of being invited to the PASIC children’s charity Spring Fun Day at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the city.
There she had the pleasure of seeing and hearing just how much the funds we raise go to help the wonderful work this charity does for sick children and their families.
With Stormtroopers, princesses, superheroes, face painting, tombola, raffle, buffet, and entertainment to keep the children (and Mum & Dad) happy all afternoon. It’s a chance for families to meet others in the same position and to give the whole family – including siblings who may otherwise miss out - a day of fun and understanding.
The PASIC team, including several volunteers, did an amazing job and it certainly looked like fun was had by all! 😊 This is only a small part of the work they do to help both the children and their families cope with the day-to-day stress and financial impact and it is easy to see how important their role is to all the families.
