Random Acts of Kindness

Random Acts of Kindness Day, usually observed on February 17th each year, is a global initiative that encourages individuals to perform selfless acts of kindness towards others. The day serves as a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a profound impact on someone's day, and in turn, make the world a better place. From paying for a stranger's coffee to offering a compliment to a coworker, every act of kindness counts.

Here at Key Mortgages the team had a fun filled Random Acts of Kindness Day by giving away 6 x £20 Just Eat vouchers to some of our followers on Facebook and Instagram. Following on from last year’s success the team randomly picked one of our followers each hour and emailed them a voucher to enjoy a takeaway meal that evening if they wished. We were having so much fun we even did an extra voucher at the end of the day too!

The interaction from our followers was amazing with comments and shares galore. Our winners really appreciated their vouchers and happily shared pictures of themselves with their takeaways later in the day.

So many of the lovely comments made on social media showed that other people were also joining in with random acts of kindness too, both throughout the day itself and, in fact, on a continuing basis.

What a great reminder of the positive impact we can have on others through simple acts of kindness.
